An ideal platform for connecting with other educators, one which is often overlooked, is Google+.
Google+ shares many similarities with other more popular social media platforms such as the ability to post and share content, like/favourite posts and have private conversations etc., but, for me, with its Communities, Collections and Hangouts, and not forgetting of course, Google Apps for Education (GAfE), Google+ is much more versatile!
